History of KRILAK ASSOCIATION

In 2006 the company celebrated its 15^th birthday. These years were not easy, but they were interesting as it was the time of continuous search for thebest ways of growth and promotion.

Thanks to its dynamic development and constant increase in the range of activities KRILAK Inc. becamea widely recognized leader in its field.

1991

1. Foundation of KRILAK Association on the base of the Central Scientific Research Institute for Building Structures named after Kucherenko.

2. KRILAKtook part in 12 projects including:

• sanatorium of the Ministry of Aircraft Industry;
• sport center in the Crimea;
• subway stations in Minsk (Belarus) and Sverdlovsk;
• copper melting plant in Dzheskazgan;
• airport in Ashkhabad;
• Presidium of the Academy of Sciences;
• Laser Medical Center in Shatura (Moscow reg.)

1992

1. Development of new fire-proof coatings: Firex-200, Firex-300, Firex-400.

2. Fire protection works in 16 projects including:

• machine department of the Beloyarskaya atomic power station;
• President's office in the Kremlin;
• Council of Economic Cooperation;
• Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company in Moscow;
• Russian Ministry of Fisheries.

3. KRILAKreceived special acknowledgements for quality performed works in the building of the Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company in Moscow.

1993

1. Development of new fire-proofcompounds Klod-01, Klod-02.

2. Fire protection works in 22 projects including:

• Buildings within the Kremlin terrritory;
• House of Russian Federation Government(White House);
• Moscow subway stations;

1994

1. Foundation of a research laboratory.

2. Completion of research and development works performed in cooperation with the Kucherenko’s Institute and Russian Research Institute of Fire-protection equipmentfor Building Constructions and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation.

3. Fire protection works in27 projects including:

• Council of Federation and State Duma (Parliament of Russian Federation);
• buildings of Kurchatov's institute (Russian Scientific Center on atomic physics);
• panoramic museum "Borodinskaya bitva" (" Borodino Battle").

4. Special thankful letter from the President's executive officer acknowledging theimportant role in the reconstruction of Concil of the Federation and of the Parliament of Russian Federation.

1995

1. Approval of a Charter of OOO “KrilaK Association for production, construction, designing, scientific research and implementation”.

2. Foundation of OOO “KrilaK Association for production, construction, designing, scientific research and implementation”.

3. Fire protection works in 45 projects including:

• Guest House of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
• Khrunichev’s plant;
• Moscow Institute of chemical machinery.

4. Special thanks for the works on the fuel and energy complex of the International Bank of Development.

1996

1. Celebration of 5 years since “Association KrilaK” has been working on the market of fire protection services.

2. Foundation of information and analytical center.

3. Fire protection works in 54 projects including:

• Christ the Savior Cathedral and Chapel;
• Halls of the Great Kremlin Palace;
• Moscow Kremlin, State museum reservation;
• trade and walking bridge Bagration;
• tennis courts in Luzhniki Stadium.

4. Special thanks from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the participation in repairing and restoration works in the Gues House, a monument of architecture of 19th century.

1997

1. Foundation of a Department for technical standards for developing projects on fire prevention and their consequent approval.

3. New fire-proof composition Fireflex TM KrilaK has been developed.

4. Three employees of the company were awarded with medals “In memory of 850^th anniversary of Moscow” for achievements at work.

5. Fire protection works on 67 objects including:

• Big Arena of Luzhniki Stadium;
• trade complex “Okhotny Ryad»;
• some buildings of Moscow Kremlin;
• automobile plant «ELAZ»;
• temple of the Birthday of Saint Mary the Virgin

6. KrilaK Association Ltd. awarded with a Diploma of the Moscow Government for its contribution to Russian capital’s development.

Special thanks for high quality and time-saving works from the management of Olympic complex Luzhniki.

1998

1. "KrilaK Association" became a memer of:

• Russian Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs;
• International Technical Committee for the Prevention and Extinction of Fire (CTIF);
• National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

2. Signing of Agreement on joint-venture foundation with “Kidde” (USA)

3. Three employees of the company awarded with a title of a “Honorable Builder of Russia”

4. Fire protection works on 82 objects including:

• automobile plant GAZ;
• atomic power station in Balakovo;
• objects of the Russian Ministry of Defense;
• buildings of the Department of city-planning and construction policy, development and reconstruction of Moscow.

5. “KrilaK Association” awarded with:

• Diploma of the winner of Russian Contest for the best construction organization.
• Diploma for the high-quality works performed in the buildings of the Parliament of Russian Federation.

1999

1. Approval of a new edition of the Charter of “KrilaK Association for production, construction, projecting, scientific research and implementation” Ltd.

2. Fire-proof paint KL-1 has been developed.

3. Fire protection works on 91 objects including:

• Drama Theatre in Irkutsk;
• Stary Gostinny Dvor (Trade and Exhibition facilities in the former wholesale trade center of 17^th cent.);
• Institute of Railway transport;
• oil processing plant in Moscow;
• atomic power station on the Kolsky peninsula;
• International airport of Domodedovo;
• Theatre of musical comedy in Rostov;

4. Special thanks from:

• Agrisovgaz Ltd. for high quality of works performed in the Stary Gostinny Dvor in 1998 – 99.
• Mercata Trading for a complex of fire preventive works in the Big Kremlin Palace in 1997 – 99.

2000

1. Foundation of a Training Center.

2. KrilaK has been appointed a basic institution of the State Building Committee of Russia in the field of fire protection.

3. Development of new fire-proof compositions Evrika, Monolite, Attik.

4. Fire protection works on more than 100 objects including:

• “Tower-2000”, a business center of the Moscow-City complex;
• complex of the Supreme Court’s buildings;
• oil processing plant in Komsomolsk-on-the Amur river;
• television tower in Tashkent;
• atomic power station in Volgodonsk;
• facilities for chemical weapon liquidation.

5. KrilaK awarded with a Diploma of theprofessional show “Power engineering – 2000” for fire-proof composition KL-1.

1. Celebration of 10 years since “Association KrilaK” has been working on the market of fire protection services.

2. Development of fire-proof composition Unikum.

3. Fire protection works on more than 110 objects including:

• Atrium, a trade complex;
• JSC “Lukoil”;
• scientific and research institute of neurosurgery named after Burdenko;
• air show in Zhukovsky;
• atomic power station in Balakovo;
• objects of special purpose;
• railway station in Samara;
• Sberbank of Russia.

4. Special thanks to KrilaK from administration of Moscow Kremlin, the State historical and cultural museum for high-quality of fire-prevention works performed in the Armory Museum.

5. KrilaK awarded with

- Diploma and a medal for the best technical solution for its fire-proof paint for cable wares KL-1 at the Fire safety-XXI show.

- Letter from the Moscow government for its substantial contribution to fire protection of the city’s objects;

- Certificate of honour from Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for its work in the International Technical Committee for Prevention and Extinction of Fire.

2002

1. KrilaK has been included in a list of 150 of the leading construction companies in Russia.

- KrilaK Promstroy (Industrial Construction);

- KrilaK Spetztechnica (Specail Technical equipment);

- Spetzkompozit (Special Compositions).

3. Transformation of the Center of scientific and technique analysis into the Center of fundamental researches.

4. Development of:

- fire-proof compositions Joker, Latik, Latik-KD;

- autonomous system for fire extinction “Zashchita-AK”;

- new range of glazed fire-proof doors.

5. KrilaK’s system of quality management has been approved with the Certificate of accordance with ISO 9001:94.

6. Fire protection works on 72 objects including:

- Luzhniki , the Olympic complex;

- Lokomotiv Stadium;

- atomic power station in Balakovo;

- atomic power station in Volgodonsk;

- objects of Russian Ministry of Defense.

7. KrilaK awarded with:

- Certificate of Honour from the Moscow government for its substantial contribution to fire protection of the city’s objects;

- Special Diploma of the Winner of the VI Russian contest for the best construction company.

2003

1. Foundation of PIK, a plant producing fire-proof products and paints.

2. KrilaK appointed as a branch of Russian Tunnel Association.

3. Development of fire-proof compositions KL-2, Monolite M1 and fire-proof bulk floor Asiyat.

4. Fire protection works on 106 objects including:

- buildings of the Moscow Kremlin;

- Tretyakov gallery;

- Lefortovsky Tunnel;

- atomic power station in Busher (Iran);

- Kalininskaya atomic power station;

- State district electric power station in Stavropol;

- objects of the Ministry of Defense.

5. Awards:

- Diploma of the winner of the contest for the Best Innovation Product for Joker, a fire-proof paint on the water-dispersion base on the 9^th international show MIPS-2003;

- First Grade Diploma at the International Show of the fire-prevention, fire-fighting and protection products;

- Diploma for the development and implementation of new highly efficient materials for protection of metal structures at the International Show “Metal in Construction and Architecture”;

2004

- Manezh, exhibition complex;

- Central Museum of the World War II on the Poklonnaya Mountain;

- Volgodonskaya nuclear power station;

- Kalininskaya nuclear power station;

- Viluiskaya State district electric power station;

- objects of the missile armies of strategic purpose;

- House of President’s receptions in Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi).

4. Awards:

- Diploma for a plastering composition Monolite-M at the Contest for the best innovation product;

- Diploma for the series of plastering fire-proof compositions Monolite at the 10^th International show MIPS-2004;

- Special Diploma of the winner of All-Russia Contest for the best organization in construction and design;

- a group of the company’s employees awarded with the Certificates of honour by the Ministry of Industry and Power Engineering of Russian Federation for their contribution in the development of construction industry.

5. A System of Quality Management developed by KrilaK has been approved in accordance with ISO 9000:2000 by TUV Management Service, an independent German auditing firm, and corresponding Certificate was given.
