FIRE PROTECTION OF CABLE PENETRATIONS
"SHIELD AK"

Integrated protection "Shield" is designed to protect cable penetrations and to prevent fire spread along cable lines through walls and floors. It provides fire resistance rate of up to 2,5 hours according to fire resistance requirements for structures (wall boards, floor slabs). it allows for replacement of damaged cable.

Fire proof penetration "SHIELD-AK-1" based on fire-retardant composition "Firex-600" provides 1,5 hour of fire resistance.

Fire proof penetration "SHIELD-AK-2" based on mineral wool plates provides 1,5 hour of fire resistance.

Fire proof penetration "SHIELD-AK-3" based on sealing pads ÏÏÂÓ-1 provides 1,5 hour of fire resistance.

"SHIELD-AK-1" is a three-layer compound. The central layer consists of fire-proof sealing compound "Firex-600". The other two layers are two confining layers of fire-retardant compound "Firex-300".According to fire safety requirements set by NPB 237-97 provides IEÒ 90 fire resistance rate (in terms of heat insulating capacity, integrity of finishing material and critical temperature for heating of cable jackets).

"SHIELD-AK-2" is a compound consistin of mineral wool plates of 150 type, covered with fire-proof paint "KL-1". According to fire safety requirements set by NPB 237-97 provides IEÒ 90 fire resistance rate (in terms of heat insulating capacity, integrity of finishing material and critical temperature for heating of cable jackets).

"SHIELD-AK-3" is a compound consisting of fire-retardant swelling pads of "ÏÏÂÓ-1", covered with fire-retardant composition "Firex-400".
The compound is a universal cable penetration. It can be used vertically and horizontally. According to fire safety requirements set by NPB 237-97 provides IEÒ 90 fire resistance rate (in terms of heat insulating capacity, integrity of finishing material and critical temperature for heating of cable jackets).
