FIRE PROTECTION OF CABLE PENETRATIONS
"SHIELD AK"

Integrated protection "Shield"is designedto protectcable penetrations and to preventfire spreadalong cable lines through walls and floors. It providesfire resistance rate of up to 2,5hours according to fire resistance requirements for structures (wall boards, floor slabs). it allows for replacement of damaged cable.

Fire proofpenetration "SHIELD-AK-1"based onfire-retardant composition "Firex-600"provides 1,5 hour of fire resistance.

Fire proofpenetration "SHIELD-AK-2" based on mineral wool plates provides 1,5 hour of fire resistance.

Fire proofpenetration "SHIELD-AK-3" based on sealing pads -1 provides 1,5 hour of fire resistance.

"SHIELD-AK-1" is a three-layer compound. The central layer consists offire-proofsealing compound"Firex-600". The other two layersare twoconfining layers of fire-retardant compound "Firex-300".According to fire safety requirements set byNPB 237-97provides IE 90 fire resistance rate(in terms ofheat insulating capacity, integrity of finishing materialandcritical temperature for heating of cable jackets).

"SHIELD-AK-2" isa compound consistin ofmineral wool plates of 150 type, coveredwith fire-proof paint "KL-1". According to fire safety requirements set byNPB 237-97provides IE 90 fire resistance rate(in terms ofheat insulating capacity, integrity of finishing materialandcritical temperature for heating of cable jackets).

"SHIELD-AK-3" is a compoundconsisting offire-retardant swelling padsof"-1",covered withfire-retardant composition"Firex-400".
The compound isa universalcable penetration. It can be used vertically and horizontally. According to fire safety requirements set byNPB 237-97provides IE 90 fire resistance rate(in terms ofheat insulating capacity, integrity of finishing materialandcritical temperature for heating of cable jackets).
