KLOD-02 – fire-retardant impregnation composition

1. FIELD OF APPLICATION AND PROPERTIES


Fire-retardant impregnation composition "Klod-02"isa water solution with non-organic salts.
The composition is designedto protect weaves and textilesfrom inflammation and fire spread,and to render weaves fire-proof properties.

2. NORMATIVE AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

The tests carried out in accordance with GOST 12.1.044-89"Fire and explosion safety of substances and materials.List ofparameters and methods of determination thereof" showed that the materials treated withfire-retardantimpregnationcomposition"Klod-02"can be classified asalmost non-flammable,showing slow fire spreadand moderatesmoke-formingability, and beingmoderately hazardousin terms oftoxicity of combustion products.

4. SURFACE TREATMENT


Prior to applicationof the composition the surface should be cleaned fromdust and dirt(with vacuum cleaner). If necessary the surface should be wet cleaned.

Application conditions
Ambient temperature-not less than+5 °;
Relative air humidity -not more than85 %;

Application modes
The application is performedbu means ofhigh pressure airless spraying machines ("Wagner", "Finish", "Larius", etc.) or spray gun in one pass.

Cleaning of tools
After completion of works the equipment and tools should be washed.

6. OPERATING CONDITIONS

Materials treated with "Klod-02" should be used in enclosed premises without direct ingress of drop moisture.
Operation time is1 year.

7. PACKING AND STORAGE


Fire-retardantimpregnation composition"Klod-02"is delivered in 10 l and 20 l package.
Shelf-life of the product in manufacturer's packagein dry conditions and under temperatureof not less than+5 °Ѡis 1 year.
